Listening session will focus on automated trucks

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) will be holding a public listening session to provide information on issues regarding to the design, development, testing and deployment of highly automated commercial vehicles.

Those interested will have a chance to share their views and any data or analysis on the topic of automated trucks with FMCSA representatives.

The session will take place on Monday, April 24, and will run from 9:30 am to noon (EST) at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in the Regency Ballroom.

Participation in the event is free and FMCSA will post specific information on how to participate digitally on the FMCSA website ahead of the listening session.
