Looking for information on BC trucking fuel efficiency practices

VANCOUVER, BC — The consulting firm, Delcan Corporation, has been engaged by BCTA and the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoT) to gather information from BC’s trucking industry regarding current fuel efficiency practices.

 

Results from the survey, which is supported by Truck News, will be used by a Task Force to create strategies, policies and/or incentives to present to the Government with the goal of obtaining their support and assistance in making your operation more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly.

 

People responsible for making purchasing decisions (fuel managers, fleet supervisors/managers,owner operators etc.), are asked to complete this survey. In

addition, if applicable please forward the survey to any owner operators you contract with.

 

There are 12 questions in this survey, which should take you no more than 5 minutes to complete. The survey allows you to add your own comments; we would appreciate any additional input you can provide.

 

Receipt of your responses to the survey by Friday, November 28, 2008 is very much appreciated.
