Lower Mainland ports to explore integrated port entity

VANCOUVER, B.C. — The boards of directors of the Fraser River, North Fraser and Vancouver Port Authorities have agreed to explore the opportunities for a new integrated port entity for the lower mainland gateway of B.C.

On July 6, representatives of the ports accepted federal Minister Lawrence Cannon’s invitation and met with his representatives to initiate discussions to this end. Further information is expected to be disclosed as discussions evolve.
