M-O awarded 2003 Cool Group’s Partners in Excellence award

BRAMPTON, Ont. — The Cool Group recently presented Maritime-Ontario (M-O) Freight Lines Limited President, with The Cool Group Partners in Excellence Award 2003.

M-O was recognized for the second consecutive year with this award, and was credited with outstanding customer support, commitment to service innovation and exceptional performance.

The Cool Group is a consortium of shippers including who banded together in 2000 in order to make their transportation and logistics activities more cost effective. Their focus is on refrigerated and frozen products, which have certain specific requirements with regard to transit.

The Partners in Excellence Award is presented annually by The Cool Group to demonstrate appreciation to dedicated and committed suppliers whose services meet the company’s highest standards for excellence.

“This award demonstrates innovation in providing services deemed essential to The Cool Group’s success,” says Richard Lande, president of The Cool Group. “We have prioritized innovation in carrier equipment and was particularly struck by M-O’s logistical trailer ‘Freightworks’ innovation as well as unique western Canadian LTL pallet pricing.”
