In a busy shop, no one burns through consumables like a welder. So BOC Canada developed a unique way to sell them: through a vending machine. Called DistriBOC, the unit can house a variety of supplies-anything from torch tips to gloves-giving you better control over inventory and your workers shop-floor access to the supplies they need.

The unit functions like a candy machine, except there’s no need to dig through your pockets for spare change. You key in the number of the product you need, plus a PIN number for identification, and the machine releases the item into the delivery tray and registers the cost of each product it dispenses. As the contents are depleted, you alert the distributor or stocking agent via e-mail using BOC-supplied software and he’ll arrive to replenish what you need.
