Mack names new Canadian powertrain sales manager

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (Mar. 1, 2005) – Mack Trucks has announced the appointment of three powertrain sales managers, including a new director for Canada.

Based in Mississauga, Ont., Steven de Sousa will now be responsible for powertrain sales activities throughout Canada. De Sousa most recently served as the Eastern region fleet service manager for Volvo Trucks Canada.

Also named were Scott Barraclough, responsible for activities in Mack’s Northeast and Southeast regions; and Joe Scarnecchia, who will be responsible for powertrain activities the Central and Southwest regions.

The three new managers will develop and manage Mack’s powertrain sales activities with dealers, field sales personnel and major accounts, and will also support trade and trucking industry groups with specialized technical support and application assistance. They will report to David McKenna, Mack’s product marketing manager for engines, transmissions and axles, and assumed their new responsibilities in February.

Mack Trucks is a member of the Volvo Group.
