LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. — Mack Trucks has partnered with Allison Transmission in the Allison EDGE Program to make the company’s transmissions the exclusive automatic transmission offering in Mack Granite, Vision, Pinnacle, CH and MR models. The program aims to provide customers with a broader range of automatic transmission options.

“With the industry trend shifting to more automatic transmissions, particularly in heavy-duty mixer and dump applications, we saw the opportunity to partner with Allison in their EDGE Program as an effective way to take full advantage of this trend, and, more importantly, to offer our customers a greater overall value,” said Tom Kelly, Mack vice-president of marketing.

“As our partner in the Allison EDGE Program, Mack will have the right transmission with the right coverage at the right price for the particular needs of its customers,” added Jim Wanaselja, director, North American marketing sales and service and global business activities for Allison Transmission.
