Mack Pinnacle production begins move to Macungie

LEHIGH VALLEY, Penn. — The first Mack Pinnacle tractor rolled off the assembly line at Mack’s Macungie Assembly Operations on Aug. 13, the company has announced.

The Macungie operation already produced Mack Granite, TerraPro and Titan models and now assembles Mack’s complete product line.

Previously, Mack Pinnacle trucks were produced at the company’s New River Valley plant in Dublin, Va. However, Mack says the move will improve efficiencies and create a brand-specific environment for Mack customers.

Pinnacle production will be completely transferred to Macungie by the end of November, according to the company. The first 1,000 Pinnacles to roll off the Macungie line will be adorned with a special Mack Bulldog decal on the hood.
