LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. (Dec. 14, 2004) — Mack Trucks has announced it will debut a new version of its Granite model in an attempt to dig its heels deeper in the heavy-duty vocational truck market.

Company officials reserved details about this new product until the formal launch at the 2005 World of Concrete show Jan. 18-20 in Las Vega, but indicated that the truck builds on all of the features customers have come to appreciate in the current model, which was introduced in 2001.

Customers who visit the Mack booth (#C6720) during the show will be given the opportunity to test drive this new vehicle.

Mack — a subsidiary of the Volvo Group –is one of North America’s largest producers of heavy-duty trucks and a significant player in the North American vocational market.
