Mack Trucks names new regional v.p., Canada region

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Mack Trucks has named Dayle Wetherell its new regional vice-president of Canada effective Jan. 1, 2015.

In his new role, Wetherell will be in charge of driving sales and increasing market share and profitability across the country.

“Mack is pleased to welcome Dayle to the team,” said Stephen Roy, president, Mack Trucks North American Sales & Marketing. “Dayle’s leadership experience, along with his strong industry and business development background, will prove invaluable to Mack and our Canadian customers.”

Wetherell is an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the heavy-truck sector. Prior to his role at Mack Trucks he was the v.p. of strategic projects and business development for Volvo Group North America.

He will be based in Mississauga, Ontario and he succeeds John McQuade who retired.
