GREENSBORO, N.C. – Mack Trucks and Volvo Trucks North America have both recently renewed their contracts with Decisiv, provider of the ASIST tool that keeps customers, dealers and service providers, Mack and Volvo field personnel and Mack/Volvo Uptime Center agents connected during service and repair events.

“ASIST allows us to provide valuable information to decision makers in real time, helping to expedite repairs and maximize uptime,” said David Pardue, Mack vice-president of connected vehicle & uptime services. “Extending our partnership with Decisiv will enable us to continue delivering the uptime solutions our customers depend on.”

“One of the ways we maximize vehicle uptime is by providing fleet customers with real-time actionable information in order to make the best possible repair decisions,” added Conal Deedy, director of connected vehicle services for Volvo Trucks. “The ASIST tool seamlessly integrates with our Remote Diagnostics telematics platform to quickly and effectively communicate information to our customers and dealers concerning monitored service events.”

Mack and Volvo say this renewed contract is part of the companies’s dedication to boost customer uptime.

“Communication is critical to the uptime equation because it allows customers to make the best decision for their business,” said Dick Hyatt, president and CEO of Decisiv. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Mack and helping customers improve the financial return on their truck assets
