BOUCHERVILLE, Que. (Aug. 17, 2005) — Manac Trailers has announced that The Holland Group’s CB400 Trailer Air-Ride Suspension/Slider System is now positioned as the Canadian trailermaker’s standard suspension on its tandem van trailers.

The CB400 is the culmination of Holland’s latest patented technologies and proven product solutions that have created a new benchmark for air-ride suspension systems. It features SwingAlign, the “industry’s fastest and most convenient axle alignment system”; an advanced thin wall cast trailing arm for optimized strength and reduced weight; and PosiLok, an innovated dock walk and squat solution.

The system also features Holland’s proven high-strength slider technology that provides unmatched durability and the QWIKRELEASE pin pull system that allows one person to reposition the slider and eliminates bound-up lock pins.

“Holland has been a reliable supplier to Manac for more than twenty years,” said Charles Dutil, president of Manac. “We are very pleased that their efforts in air-ride suspensions systems will enable Manac to offer more competitive, state of the art components to our clients.”

Today Manac is the largest semi-trailer manufacturer in Canada and one of the ten largest in North America. The company manufactures custom-built semi-trailers, including vans, flatbeds, forestry semi-trailers, construction semi-trailers and other specialized products.
