Management team buys Reyco Granning

MOUNT VERNON, Mo. – Heavy-duty suspension systems maker Reyco Granning Suspensions has been purchased from Tuthill Corp.

The acquisition was a management buyout backed by private investment group, MAT Capital, which the ownership group says has transportation industry experience.

The company will be named Reyco Granning LLC with Ray Mueller as president.

Mueller has been with the company for more than 25 years as vice president of engineering before becoming president last year.

Founded in 1924 as Reynolds Manufacturing Co., Reyco has been designing and manufacturing suspensions systems for more than 85 years.
