Managing new drivers conference

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Truckload Carriers Association will be hosting an audio conference on how to effectively manage new drivers.

The conference will run from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, and will be entitled First 30 Days.

The seminar will provide the tools to help the company implement a plan that will ensure the drivers survive the critical 30 day period.

A panel of speakers will cover topics like, how to get the family involved, what sorts of things should be covered in orientation, how to make a drivers’ first road trip a success and how to anticipate retention issues.
