Mangano joins Truckstop.net

NEW PLYMOUTH, Idaho — Truckstop.net, a provider of wireless Internet for truck stops and travel plazas, welcomes Vincent Mangano as Director of Market Integration.

Mangano will work with Truckstop.net’s location partners to promote the service offering and develop marketing initiatives that are complimentary to the business direction of the truck stops and travel plazas offering WIFI.

Mangano will also be working with location managers with regard to the delivery and positioning of marketing collateral, Truckstop.net Web site development, point-of-presence integration, customer education programs and bundling service programs, as well as a host of other related issues.

He has been a private consultant to the transportation industry since 1996. His assignments have included working with truck stops and trucking companies, industry organizations, and technology providers. Mangano spent several years as a truck stop operator as Corporate General Manager for a multi-unit truck stop and C-store operation. As an active member of NATSO and WATSO, he served on several committees and played an active role in those organizations. His most recent assignments have been with several technology providers for the truck stop industry where he implemented a multi-application smart card showcase as well as developing a business model for expanding WIFI technologies into the transportation industry. In addition, Vince has contributed to the development of leading edge Point of Sale systems and market deployment.

Prior to his consulting years, Mangano was an executive with Key Corp, where he served as a Regional Vice President, and GE Capital where he served as a Director for Wholesale lending and Retails Sales Manager for Alternative channels of distribution. While at GE Capital Vince is credited for several technological innovations like the first Laptop Loan Originization system, today an industry norm; and streamlining the loan decision process.

He earned a Masters in Business Administration with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. In addition to his professional accomplishments,Mangano has worked with his local community to provide activity and spiritual-based development for young adults of his community.
