Manitoba Safety Council hosting open house

WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Safety Council is having an open house at its Vehicle Research and Training Centre.

The event takes place Nov. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The day will begin with a tour of the Manitoba Safety Council offices at Unit #3, 1680 Notre Dame Ave. in Winnipeg.

Afterwards, guests will be shuttled to the Vehicle Research and Training Centre at St. Andrews Airport where demonstrations involving the available training will be held. Skid control and evasive manoeuvres are among the types of training to be demonstrated.
