WINNIPEG, Man. — Bison Transport, Beaver Trucks, Dr. Hook Towing and Maxim Truck & Trailer are taking part in a friendly competition to raise money for the United Way.

At noon tomorrow, the four companies will face off during a truck-pull competition at the Canad Inns Stadium on 1465 Maroons Road.

Each company’s team includes 10 people, including at least three women. The cost per team to enter was a minimum of $200 with 100% of the proceeds going to the United Way.

“These four companies continue to show their community support and leadership by raising money and volunteering resources for many worthwhile causes in the communities in which they operate including the United Way,” said Bison Transport officials in a release.
