Manufacturer makes Bendix equipment standard on heavy trailers

ELYRIA, Ohio — Belshe Industries has chosen several Bendix brand wheel end solutions as standard equipment on its heavy equipment trailers.

As part of the agreement, Belshe, which manufactures a complete line of heavy equipment trailers, will offer as standard, Bendix brand foundation drum brakes, Bendix ASA-5 automatic slack adjusters, and Bendix SB-4 combination spring brakes.

“We decided to make Bendix standard on our trailers because of the reputation the name carries and, frankly, because Bendix offers a competitive price,” said John Reynolds, purchasing manager at Belshe. “Belshe has always had good experience with Bendix components, and we expect that to continue. Bendix offers higher-quality products and allows us to better serve our customers. It’s not the sole reason, but it’s certainly not a coincidence that we’ve seen an increase in sales of products that now feature Bendix technology as standard.”
