Maritime Ontario Freight honoured for regional service
BRAMPTON, Ont. (May 9, 2003) — Maritime-Ontario Freight Lines was one of several companies honoured at the Outstanding Business Achievement Awards held recently to highlight the city of Brampton’s economic excellence in 2002.
Company president Doug Munro said taking home the top prize in the distribution category was an honour considering the number of transport and distribution companies in the city.
M-O, which does all the extraditing parcels and express post parcels for Canada Post within the GTA, as well distributes the Toronto Star newspaper for Brampton and Mississauga, is one of Canada’s largest for-hire carriers with over 1300 pieces of equipment.
