Markel launches seminar series on developing a claims response protocol

TORONTO, Ont. — Markel Insurance is offering a cross-country seminar series to educate fleets on how a claims response protocol can reduce losses.

The Lets Talk about The Best Outcomes from Claims and Losses seminar will feature: a legal expert in trucking cases; an environmental company specializing in site remediation; an accident reconstructionist; and trucking carriers with established claims reporting procedures. A Markel claims executive will also be on-hand to present an outline for a recommended claims response protocol.

It kicks off Sept. 11 in Edmonton and will be held in five major Canadian cities. Dates and locations include: Edmonton, Sept. 11, Mayfield Inn and Suites; Calgary, Sept. 12, Greenwood Inn and Suites; Moncton, Sept. 19, Ramada Crystal Palace; Montreal, Sept. 24, Hotel Mortagne; and Toronto, Sept. 27, DoubleTree International.

All seminars run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch will be served. Cost of the seminar is $349, but early-bird prices are available.
