MARKHAM, Ont. — CarriersEdge has partnered with Marsh Canada to offer its driver development system to Marsh customers through the Marsh Affinity Program.

The multi-year deal will allow Marsh Canada customers to take advantage of driver quality improvement programs, which CarriersEdge says result in better drivers and a better return on investment for fleet owners. CarriersEdge provides online driver training programs and Marsh Canada is a risk and insurance services firm.

Through its affinity program, Marsh seeks out best-of-breed products and services and offers them to its customers with preferential packaging and pricing, the company says.

“Marsh is continually seeking new ways to serve our customers in the transportation industry,”announced Greg St. Croix, vice-president risk consulting for Marsh Canada. “CarriersEdge offers a compelling solution for improving driver quality, and we’re extremely pleased to offer this service to our customers.”

Marsh customers will have access to a customized version of CarriersEdges driver development system at a reduced price. Other service will also be available to Marsh customers at a reduced rate.

“Marsh Canada provides the most comprehensive risk management services in the transportation sector,” said Mark Murrell, president of CarriersEdge. “Partnering with industry leaders is a key component of our strategy and we’re very excited to be selected for inclusion in the Marsh Affinity Program.”
