Marsh Canada teams up with online training firm

MARKHAM, Ont. — CarriersEdge, a provider of online driver training and education programs, has entered into a multi-year, national agreement with Marsh Canada.

The agreement means the insurer will offer the CarriersEdge driver development system to all its customers as part of the Marsh Affinity Program.

“Marsh Canada provides the most comprehensive risk management services in the transportation sector,” said Mark Murrell, president of CarriersEdge.

CarriersEdge is one of a select group of vendors invited to participate in this program.

“Marsh is continually seeking new ways to serve our customers in the transportation industry,” noted Greg St. Croix, vice-president of risk consulting for Marsh. “CarriersEdge offers a compelling solution for improving driver quality, and we’re extremely pleased to offer this service to our customers.”

Under the terms of the deal, CarriersEdge will offer Marsh customers a customized version of its driver development system, as well preferred pricing on all services. Marsh customers get the program through the Marsh Affinity program, or by contacting CarriersEdge directly.
