Mascot Opens New Production and Distribution Facility

Mississauga, ON — Canada’s only wholesale remanufacturer of heavy truck components has completed its move to a new 40,000 square foot production and distribution facility in Mississauga.

The Mascot Truck Parts Canada move follows an earlier announced plan to increase remanufactured product availability across the country and to lower delivery lead times.

“Mascot expanded its distribution network across Canada, opening locations in Edmonton, Windsor, Montreal, Moncton, Halifax, and Newfoundland,” said Bill Statham, president of Mascot Truck Parts. “Opening of a central distribution hub in Mississauga will allow Mascot to quickly replenish inventory anywhere across the country”

He said Mascot will also expand its “all-makes” remanufacturing capabilities at its new facility, including a complete steering production line, additional capacity for transmission and differential production, along with an expanded driveshaft repair footprint.

In addition to its new Canadian facility, Mascot also announced it plans to establish a new remanufacturing center in the Indianapolis, IN area.

The company already has a 95,000 square foot remanufacturing plant in Plainfield, IN.
