LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Aurora Parts and Accessories announced during the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. on March 21, a recent partnership and an upcoming partnership, which both aim to expand the companys offerings.

Aurora, a wholesale supplier of trailer aftermarket parts, late last year began carrying Hyundai Translead trailer parts and accessories for areas west of the Mississippi River as well as Wisconsin, Ohio and Chicago-land area.

Hyundai Translead manufactures a variety of trailers including dry freight and refrigerated van trailers; as well as domestic containers, container chassis and converter dollies for large and mid-size fleets.

We believe this partnership will offer faster delivery times and service to our valued customers, said Ora Edwards, manager of aftermarket parts with Hyundai Translead. We know equipment down time means loss of revenue, therefore we take our partnership with Aurora Parts very seriously to ensure our customers are up-and-running as soon as possible.

Aurora also revealed beginning in the second quarter of 2007, the supplier will offer parts and accessories from Transcraft Flatbed and Drop-Deck Trailer.

Transcraft, a wholly owned subsidiary of Wabash National, has been producing flatbed and drop deck trailers for the commercial vehicle and construction industries for nearly 45 years.

Our customers have come to expect a high level of service from Transcraft, said Dave de Poincy, vice-president and general manager with Transcraft. Aurora is well positioned to deliver Transcraft parts on time and provide the service our customers expect.

Transcraft will join the other brands already represented by Aurora. Aurora is the exclusive distributor of Wabash National, DuraPlate, RoadRailer, Hyundai Translead, Fruehauf and Pro-Par aftermarket parts.

In addition, Aurora provides an extensive all-makes parts inventory for all brands and types of trailers.

Aurora carries its broad range of trailer brand parts through a network of more than 250 independently owned dealers, repair shops and OEM branches across Canada and the US. The addition of Transcraft will see about another 100 dealers join the network.

Now we just have to see how we can meld this all together, with our current network and add their dealers, noted Tony Difilippantonio, vice-president of sales and marketing with Aurora.
