WINNIPEG, Man. — Maxim Truck & Trailer raised more than $20,050 for the Christmas Cheer Board of Winnipeg at the company’s 14th annual pancake breakfast.

The event was held Dec. 4 and attracted more than 300 guests. It was hosted at Maxim’s head office in Winnipeg. Cash donations were received, as well as a full truckload of non-perishable food items for the Christmas Cheer Board.

“I’m so thankful for all of our employees, customers, suppliers and friends who help to make the event such a big success,” said Maxim president Doug Harvey.

The Christmas Cheer Board will use the funds to help out families receiving provincial assistance as well as many of the working poor.
