Maxim Truck & Trailer President Recognized as Philanthropist

WINNIPEG, MB – A group that advocates more philanthropic efforts has named Doug Harvey, president and CEO of Maxim Truck & Trailer, as its Outstanding Philanthropist for 2015.

The move by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Manitoba acknowledged Harvey for his support of the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and Assiniboine Park Conservancy.

According to the group, Harvey has made a huge impact in the progress of Winnipeg.

Harvey is also the board chair of the Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, and will also be chair of the planning committee for its upcoming capital campaign.

Led by Doug’s initiative, Maxim supports community organizations, and sponsors arts, culture, education, health, and sports initiatives in cities throughout Canada. Every year a percentage of Maxim’s revenues are donated to charity.
