KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Arrow Truck Sales has broadened its Arrow Certified pre-owned truck program to include medium-duty trucks.

The program, launched earlier this year, previously included only Class 8 tractors. The Arrow Certified program is designed to provide truck buyers with the highest quality pre-owned trucks, each backed by a 6-month/ 50,000 mile limited warranty. Arrow Certified medium-duty trucks – from a variety of manufacturers – will include vocational and specialty trucks, such as dump trucks, refrigerated vehicles, and moving vans.

“By including medium-duty trucks in the Arrow Certified program, we are providing the greatest customer assurance possible to all of our customers,” said Carl Heikel, president and CEO of Arrow Truck Sales. “Arrow Certified represents the best value in the industry, and now it also represents the widest selection.”

Only Class 3-7 trucks that are less than five model years old and have fewer than 175,000 miles are eligible to be Arrow Certified Medium-Duty. The trucks selected to be certified, undergo an extensive inspection and reconditioning process to insure their quality, value and reliability.

The 6-month/ 50,000 mile warranty, which was already standard on all Class 8 Arrow Certified vehicles, covers not only the engine, but transmission, and rear axle(s) as well.

“Our competitors typically offer 30-day warranties on their own ‘certified’ used trucks,” stated Lee Wallace, Arrow’s senior vice-president of sales and operations. “As a leader in the industry, we want to offer the best standard warranty in the business on all of our Arrow Certified trucks.”
