MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — A memorial mass is being held for Michael Gordon Forman, a well-known and respected member of the trucking industry, Nov. 18. Forman passed away Sept. 18 at age 58.

Forman started working in the industry back in 1981 doing sales with Reyco Canada (now called Tuthill Inc.) He eventually started his own business, MGF Associates, where he worked as president with his business partner, Dave Brennan. Forman and Brennan worked as friendly competitors for a number of years before becoming partners in 2001.

Mike was very well known and had a lot of friends in the industry, Brennan told Truck News. In an industry populated with a lot of honourable guys, Mike was certainly an honourable guy. What he said you could take to the bank. Everybody that knew him trusted him. It was big loss to us.

The memorial mass is being held at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Mississauga, Ont. at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 18. To R.S.V.P. contact Wendy at 905-827-7910.
