LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Meritor has announced it has renewed an exclusive five-year pact with Fras-le to supply brake lining for its US and Canadian commercial vehicle markets.

The two companies have been partners for 15 years and have co-developed friction materials to address the needs of the North American commercial vehicle market.

“Fras-le is extremely committed to quality friction materials and exceeding the expectations of both production and aftermarket customers,” said Joe Mejaly, president of Meritor Aftermarket and Trailers.

Under the deal, Fras-le will continue to supply friction materials to Meritor for its production and aftermarket consumption.

Fras-le’s aftermarket brake lining products are distributed in the US and Canada through Meritor’s North American facilities, including one in Brampton, Ont.
