BRAMPTON, Ont. — In an effort to serve the growing spring brake needs of Canadian trailer original-equipment manufacturers (OEMs), MGM Brakes has launched a new OEM program.
A Canadian parts distribution center (PDC), located in Brampton, Ont., will maintain a full stock of the MGM Brakes part numbers most commonly requested by fleets and required by trailer builders.
This comprehensive program requires users to simply place an order as usual through the MGM Brakes American PDC located in Springfield, Mo. using a toll-free number, 877-294-5906. The product will then be shipped directly from the new Canadian PDC. Shipments are slated to begin in late August.
Michel Goulet, MGM Brakes Canadian sales manager, is enthusiastic about the new PDC’s capabilities.
“This new distribution center will allow timely and cost-effective delivery to Canadian trailer OEMs,” Said Goulet. “Everybody wins with this development which underscores the MGM Brakes commitment to fully serve the needs of our Canadian OEM customers.”
MGM Brakes products are standard equipment on over 125 makes of heavy-duty vehicles manufactured in over 40 countries around the world. MGM Brakes is a division of Indian Head Industries, Inc., with headquarters located in Charlotte, N.C. Two manufacturing facilities are in operation, one in Murphy, N.C. and another in Cloverdale, Calif.
