MGM Brakes receives PACCAR award

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — MGM Brakes has been named PACCAR Parts’ 2001 Supplier of the Year at the annual PACCAR/Peterbilt Customer Service Conference in Tampa, Florida.

The presentation was made Jan. 18 in front of about 500 suppliers and dealers.

Rick Bergdahl, PACCAR product marketing manager presented the award, citing MGM Brakes as "a supplier with all-around outstanding performance who competes in one of the most competitive product categories in the heavy-duty market."

He went on to say "They have ranked in the top 20 per cent of our scorecard every year since the program began. They offer a range of products suited to tough vocational applications and their field sales force is well-known and respected by our dealers."

Ron Parker, chairman, president and chief executive officer of MGM, says "This award and recognition by PACCAR is just further evidence of MGM’s commitment to quality, safety and customer support in our continued goal of being the world’s best manufacturer of spring brake actuators."
