Minister of Labour to join list of speakers at Women with Drive event

OTTAWA, Ont. – Trucking HR Canada has announced that Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Canada’s Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of women is one of the speakers at this year’s Women with Drive Leadership Summit.

“We are honoured to welcome the Minister to our event,” says Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. “Her participation demonstrates the federal government’s commitment to the Women with Drive initiative.”

The event takes place on March 5 at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre and includes panel discussions and presentation by women who hold senior positions in the industry. Topics include mentorship programs and best practices from other industries. As well, Brenda Andress, the commissioner of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League will lead the keynote presentation.
