MitFuso names top Canadian dealer

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Sunny Kwong of Concord, Ont. was named Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America’s Canadian Salesperson of the Year. And his business, Kwong’s Truck Service, was named Canadian Dealer of the Year for 2009.

Each year, MFTA honors its most outstanding dealers in the U.S. and Canada, for overall performance, for parts sales, and for service performance.

"These awards aren’t just about who sold the most trucks or parts," said Mike Rumsey, MFTA vice president of sales operations. "MFTA evaluates all facets of the dealers’ performance in order to determine the annual winners. In 2009, we were witness to one of the most challenging years in recent times in the medium-duty truck industry. hese winners demonstrated true perseverance in the face of difficult market conditions."

U.S. National Dealer of the Year went to Milea Truck Sales Corp. of Bronx, N.Y.
