Molson man’s legacy lives on

GUELPH, Ont. — When Molson Canada’s Gordon Dennis passed away earlier this summer, many colleagues and friends expressed grief and admiration for one of Canada’s most experienced and respected trucking managers.

Another smaller group went one better and established The Gordon Dennis In Educational Fund, which will reward a deserving Conestoga College student who shows excellence in the field of Supply Chain Management.

The first $1,000 award will be presented Monday, Aug. 10 by Conestoga President John Tibbits.

When Dennis passed away, the president of the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) Bruce Richards, had this to say: "Gord’s was one of the cheerful voices that I heard on the telephone most mornings as my day was beginning."
"We at the PMTC will certainly miss Gord."

Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund can either make an online pledge or send payment can find out more at www.conestogac.on.ca/alumni/giving.jsp
