More layoffs announced by Volvo

DUBLIN, Va. — Volvo Trucks North America has announced it will permanently lay off 650 more workers at its Dublin, Virginia truck plant.

 

The Canadian Press reported the layoffs will affect 40% of Volvo’s remaining workforce there by the end of April. About 1,000 workers had already been laid off at the plant.
