More security training from J.J. Keller
J.J. Keller & Associates
4/24/02 — J. J. Keller & Associates has just introduced Truck Driver and Cargo Security, a new training program that shows drivers how to protect themselves and their cargo against security breaches.
At the core of the program is a 25-minute video that explains what drivers can do to increase security at pickup, in transit, and at delivery. It covers topics like checking paperwork; supervising loading; using trailer seals; planning trips; securing cargo; and watching for suspicious activity.
The end of the video includes a section on hazmat -specific security information, making it optional for general carrier viewing. This section covers bills of lading, placards, and labels. Along with the video, the program includes instructional materials – a discussion guide, awareness posters, and 10 driver handbooks – to help managers deliver a well-organized training session and get drivers actively involved in the learning process.
