More States Waive HOS Rules for Trucks Hauling Fuel

WASHINGTON, DC — In the U.S., many states have declared a state of emergency due to bad weather, waiving the HOS rules for truckers hauling propane and the waivers keep on coming.

The waivers are in effect until:

  • Jan 17 or until emergency conditions no longer exist, whichever is sooner, in Arkansas.
  • Jan 16 for drivers hauling diesel, gasoline, propane and heating oil in Connecticut.
  • Jan 14 for drivers hauling propane through Kansas.
  • Jan 28 for drivers in Kentucky.
  • Jan 18 in Maine and it also applies to trucks hauling diesel.
  • Jan 31 in Michigan for transportation of heating oil and propane.
  • Jan 13 in Missouri.
  • Jan 31 for propane deliveries through New Jersey.
  • Jan 31 in New York.
  • Feb 5 in Oklahoma.
  • Jan 25 in Pennsylvania.
  • Feb 8 in South Dakota.
  •  Jan 13 in Vermont.
  • Jan 22 in Wisconsin.
