VANIER, Ont. — A mover was taken to the hospital when backdraft from a trailer fire caused a door to fly open into his face.

The complete household belongings of two separate families caught fire in a moving trailer near Vanier, Ont.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials say the blaze caused $110,000 in damage.

Given the nature of the blaze, some suspect the contents of the trailer cause it to burst into flames, injuring the innocent trucker. The fire started at just after 5:30 p.m.

Fire crews prevented the smoke from reaching a nearby apartment building. The mover was trying to unlock the trailer when the incident took place.
