MTA announces new board and executive committee

WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) has named a host of new officers and Executive Committee members for the 2005-2006 term.

Vic Switzer of Portage Cartage and Storage has been named president of the association, and he will be supported by first vice-president Clayton Gording of Reimer Express Lines and second vice-president, Earl Coleman of Big Freight Systems.

Bob Senkow of TST Porter will serve as past-president this year.

Executive committee members include: Susan Snyder of Searcy Trucking; and Brian Page of Winnipeg Motor Express.

The Board of Directors elected at the recent meeting include: John Erik Albrechtsen, Paul’s Hauling; Greg Arndt; Jade Transport; Norm Blagden’ Bison Diversified; Dennis Clarke, Gardewine North; Seaton Coleman, Bulk Milk Haulers; Earl Coleman, Big Freight Systems; Ron Cram, Cheval Transport; Ron Daneliuk, Yellow Transportation; Jacques Desrosiers, Dawson Road Transport; Ed Elias, Essen Transport; Dennis Engel, Gardewine North; Darrin Fiske, Kleysen Transport; Clayton Gording, Reimer Express Lines; Borden Hadley, Smooth Freight; Jim Hiebert, J.D.H.
