MTA offers H-o-S seminar

WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) and Manitoba Transportation and Government Services are providing companies with an overview of the new H-o-S rules.

An information session will be held Mar. 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Victoria Inn at 1808 Wellington Ave. in Winnipeg.

Darren Christle, director of transportation safety and regulation with Manitoba Transportation and Government Services will conduct the seminar, which will outline the changes coming into effect under the new hours-of-service regulations.

The course will consist of an: overview; a history of the development of the new model; the process of implementation; details of the new model; and a timeline. A question and answer session will follow.

Cost of the session is $60 for members and $80 for non-members. Additional registrations are discounted. For more information, call the MTA at 204-632-6600.
