MTA to host fall management conference

WINNIPEG, Man. — The Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) is forgoing its traditional Annual Convention in Winnipeg in favour of a Fall Management Conference to be held in September.

The conference is slated for Sept. 10-12 at the Lakeview Resort and Conference Centre in Gimli, Man. The MTA is still working on developing a program, however there are some activities already planned including: golf at Links on the Lake; an artist’s studio tour; fish fry and sing-along on the beach; Stringer’s Brunch with "Muddy River Stringers"; an open MTA board meeting; a Diagio Distillery tour; and a president’s banquet featuring a number of awards presentations.
