TORONTO, Ont. — With DriveTest workers (including driving examiners) on strike, the province is extending the expiration dates of driver’s licences.

DriveTest has announced on its Web site that road tests can be rescheduled without a charge upon the resumption of services. Road tests scheduled for this week will be automatically cancelled.

DriveTest says it is keeping its automated road test booking systems up and running through the strike, however it’s not known when service will resume.
