ALDERSYDE, Alta. (Nov. 4, 2004) — Mullen Transportation Inc. and E. Gruben’s Transport Ltd., an Inuvialuit owned and operated company based in the Northwest Territories, announced today that they have recently completed their 2004 expansion of their northern operations.

The expansion was accomplished through their jointly owned and operated affiliate Beaufort Oilfield Support Services Ltd. (“BOSS”), a Northwest Territories company. It included an expansion of their Marine operations (“BOSS Marine”) and an expansion of their Land infrastructure (“BOSS Land”).

The operations of BOSS Marine were enhanced by the addition of the John Wurmlinger, a marine base camp barge with fuel storage capabilities, a helicopter pad and a workshop/warehouse and the Delta Eagle, an 800-hp tug.

The addition of the Wurmlinger and Delta Eagle to BOSS Marine further strengthens BOSS’s, Mullen’s and E. Gruben’s ability to provide their customers with a total supply chain solution in the north, the companies say.
