CALGARY, Alta. — David Mullen has informed the Mullen Group Income Fund that he will be relinquishing his position as vice-president and business unit leader of Mullen Trucking, one of the fund’s independently operated business units.

Mullen has been in the Mullen organization for more than 25 years and has been instrumental in developing Mullen Trucking into one of Canada’s leading long-haul trucking companies.

Mullen has decided to pursue other interests but has agreed to make himself available through December of this year on a consulting basis and thereafter as the need arises.

“It will be difficult to replace the experience and enthusiasm that Dave brought to our business. His leadership style and knowledge of the industry have been a major contributor to Mullen Trucking’s successes over the years,” commented Murray Mullen, chairman. “In addition to his many accomplishments he has selected and mentored a management team that is more than capable of continuing to provide quality service and leadership to the many Mullen Trucking customers and employees. We wish Dave all the best in his future endeavours. He will be missed and we thank him for the many years of service to our organization.”
