Mullen’s finances under new watch

OKOTOKS, Alta. — The Mullen Group has appointed long-term employee P. Stephen Clark to the position of Chief Financial Officer effective Aug. 1.

Clark succeeds David E. Olson, who previously announced his plan to retire from Mullen after 26 years of dedicated service.

Clark has been with the Mullen organization for 13 years, most recently serving as Mullen’s vice-president responsible for special projects and acquisition integration. Clark first joined the Mullen organization in 1997 when he became the vice-president of accounting services of Cascade Carriers, a Mullen subsidiary.

In 2002, Clark assumed the position of Director of Accounting Services for the corporate head office, a position he held until 2007. Clark graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree and has been a Certified Management Accountant since 1992.

"Since joining Mullen in 1997 Stephen has proven to be a trusted, knowledgeable and valuable member of our team. His detailed knowledge of our organization and its many complexities will hold him in good stead in this new position," stated Murray K. Mullen, chairman and co-CEO.
