Murray’s Irving to host driver appreciation BBQ, golf tourney

WOODSTOCK, N.B. — Murray’s Irving will be hosting its annual Truck Driver Appreciation Days Sept. 8 and 9. The event, hosted in association with the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association, Donnelly Farms and Palmer Atlantic, will be held on each day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Murrary’s Irving’s Woodstock, N.B. location.

The event will feature a barbeque lunch and prize giveaways, including a new Honda four-wheeler for one lucky fuel customer.

In addition to the barbeque, Murray’s will also be hosting a charity golf tournament on Sept. 9. The event will be held at the Covered Bridge Golf and Country Club in Hartland, N.B. with proceeds going to the Food Bank and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The price per person is $125 + HST or $500 + HST per foursome, which includes green fees, golf cart and a steak barbeque.
