N.S. Trucking Safety Association appoints five new board members

KENTVILLE, N.S. — The Nova Scotia Trucking Safety Association appointed five new members to its board of directors at its annual general meeting in March. Included in this group is the associations first female board member, Elaine Gilmore of Midland Transport in Moncton, N.B.

Other new board members include Geoff White of Trimac in Dartmouth, N.S., Dan Leopold of Day & Ross in Dartmouth, Jim Jollimore of Fisher Transport, and Matt Brehmer, executive director of the Truckers Association of Nova Scotia.

This week, the NSTSA also held its first WHMIS Train the Trainer course and will be in attendance at the TANS convention this weekend.
