New Closed-loop Oil Skimmer

Cleveland, Ohio-based Oil Skimmers Inc. says its new oil skimmer model 6-V removes oil from wastewater by adhering to a specially formulated closed-loop tube which snakes over and around debris. The tube then systematically lifts oil out of the water and then the oil is removed as it’s drawn through scrapers. The company says the 6-V can remove up to 100 gallons of oil an hour, is suitable at below freezing or in-plant temperatures, and can be customized to specifications.
