OAKVILLE, Ont. — Castrol is launching its latest contest, the Big Rig Overhaul, which will award one lucky Canadian owner/operator a $50,000 truck makeover.

Castrol is asking contestants to write a 50-75 word essay on why their rig should be overhauled and submit a photo for judging. A panel will decide on the best submission and award the Big Rig Overhaul.
Orangeville, Ont.-based Fully Loaded Customs, a specialist in big rig customization, will design and build the overhaul with the drivers input.

Truck drivers spend a lot of time on the road and in their truck, says Mark Pagnanelli, HD sales and marketing manager, Wakefield Canada, distributor of Premium Castrol Products. The Big Rig Overhaul is designed to help one lucky Canadian owner/operator personalize their rig and make it an extension of their personality and the best part is they can take it on the road with them.

The winner will be notified in May and work with Fully Loaded Customs to create the big rig of their dreams. The overhauled truck will make its official debut when it is unveiled at the Fergus Truck Show in July.
