New freight matching system to hit the market

MILTON, Ont. — Visitors to ExpoCam got a sneak peak at a new freight matching pipeline dubbed LoadSurfer.

Loadsurfer Corp. says its system is powered by “modern architecture, lightning speed and world class reliability” and combines freight matching capabilities with other useful tools such as Equifax credit reports and ProMiles mileage calculators.

The company was showcasing its platform at ExpoCam and will be offering a free trial in May. Another feature is a Transportation Management System (TMS) Partners Program that will allow TMS users to post, edit and remove their loads and equipment to LoadSurfer automatically, the company says.

“Although TMS users have long enjoyed the benefits of having integrated mapping, satellite tracking data and automated fuel tax preparation built right into their software, the Canadian TMS market lacks a quality freight matching integration,” explained Roy Thacker, CEO of Loadsurfer. “Surfer is an open platform which means that users can customize the manner in which they use the data from the pipeline. We will be the industry standard to which other applications are compared.”
